Our team
Roy Hyunjin Han has worked in labs and industries ranging from retail and neurogenetics to technology transfer and airline reservation systems. He holds a Masters in Computer Science and Machine Learning from Columbia University and a Bachelors in Mathematics and Neuroscience from New York University. He works in a team that designs graphical, web-based infrastructure planning tools for the World Bank and local governments in developing countries. He built a system to find houses in rural satellite images for the Earth Institute at Columbia University. The distribution of houses guides infrastructure planning for the UN Millennium Villages. He also designs office automation tools for the Technology Commercialization Office at the City University of New York. He lives in Hell's Kitchen with his girlfriend of three years.
